Argh! I have an infection in one of my sockets. At least, I'm pretty sure that's what's wrong. Over the last few days I've had some quite nasty pain in my bottom left gum and cheek (despite the fact that the stitches came out of my cheeks days ago), and now some swelling that's visible from the outside. You'd think all this would be over by now! I'm taking lots of anti-inflammatories, chewing on the other side, rinsing with salt water and hoping for the best. God damn crappy pissy immune system.
On the plus side, I am back at taekwondo training and am doing everything except sparring with few ill effects. My jaw is generally achy after training, but it's not too bad.

hi!
i just got my wisdom teeth out two mondays ago. when i found out about the cheek to gum stitch job i about lost it.
did your cheek eventually find its way to freedom again or is this shit stuck like this forever?
thanks,

Tooth extraction means pain to me! I have very little tolerance with pain. I remember when I was a kid, I would often avoid going near a dental clinic. Thankfully, I outgrew my phobia and now enjoy visiting the clinics of the highly skilled Greenville, SC dentists. I've actually befriended the nicest dentists in Greenville, SC who helped me overcome my fears and debunked the dental myths.
Anyway, Hope you will feel better soon!
That sounds like it really hurts. A friend of mine decided that he wanted to try to remove his wisdom teeth by himself. Let's just say he still has to visit a dentist in Calgary every month because of the damage he did.
Thanks for sharing. This all great information. I'm worried about my teeth. hopefully I can find someone good to do my wisdom teeth in Meridian ID.
If you haven’t had access to the proper dental care for years or for a lifetime, you may be suffering from worn, discoloured or otherwise broken teeth. But Dental Implants in St Albert can help with full mouth restorative treatment.
I remember the day when my wisdom teeth came out. I was in so much pain. I was crying and only wanted to watch Disney movies. I was glad that I was put to sleep while they were removing my teeth. http://www.greeleydentalhealth.com/WisdomTeethExtractions.htm

How old are you exactly? You look very young. I got my wisdom teeth out when I was 16. It was good to have it out at that time. http://www.alldentdental.net/
I need to get my wisdom teeth out but I'm really nervous. I figured that if I could go online and read about other peoples' experiences, I would feel more confident about it. After reading your blog, I think I will be able to survive. Maybe I will even write my own blog about it. http://www.cherrycreekoralsurgery.com
You seriously got an infection in one of your sockets? When I got my wisdom teeth taken out, my dentist told me to swish salt water around in my mouth. Not only does salt water taste gross, but it hurt my sockets way bad. That whole experience was just awful now that I think about it. http://www.campusoralsurgery.com
I never got an infection, but it was weird to get dry sockets. I was really self-conscious about getting food stuck in them and then getting an infection. I would spend hours trying to get the food out because I didn't want to get an infection. Once they healed over, I was able to not worry about food and could eat whatever I wanted.

I'm so sorry to hear about your infection! My friend got a dry socket a couple days after she had her wisdom teeth out and she said that was worse than the procedure. She ate a lot of liquids and made sure to take her medication. I think this should help you as well! http://www.sundancesmiles.com/services/wisdom-teeth/
